Description
Relax, reconnect, and recharge at Poes Mountain Lodge. Enjoy the nature views and privacy that 50 acres provides.The cabin is constructed with Canadian western red cedar logs. Enjoy 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open kitchen and living area, a large deck, and a screened in back porch. There is a stone fireplace that contains stone from the original cabin that was constructed in the late 1700s.Enjoy local wineries, Skyline Drive (about 30 minutes away), venture out to DC for a day trip, or stay put and enjoy the house amenities. The sky has very low light pollution which provides a great backdrop for stargazing at night. We like to sit on the back porch in the rocking chairs and observe all of the wildlife that call the mountain home.
