Pack your cooler, and sunscreen, and don’t have to deal with finding a parking spot!-Walk with your tubes and cooler about 10-15 minutes to Prince Solms Park/Hinman Island Park for public access to the Comal River and Tube Chute, jump in and float down to either the CRC private riverbank (30min float) for a pitstop (make sure you’re wearing your property wristband!) or keep floating down to the last public exit, corner of S Union and Lincoln St for about a 2 hour float! The walk back to CRC is about 15-20 minutes!-Take a brisk 10-20 minute walk to nearby restaurants or stroll further into downtown New Braunfels to enjoy more local restaurants, bars and breweries, shop in our quaint boutiques, and get strudel in the oldest bakery in Texas, Naegelin’s Bakery!- If you want to float a long portion of the Guadalupe River, we advise you to drive to Rockin R to rent THEIR tubes and use their shuttle service.-And, Gruene, Texas with the world-famous Gruene Hall and delicious restaurants such as Gruene River Grill and The Gristmill is only a 10-minute drive away!Places we recommend that are within a 5-20 minute walk to and from the complex:Restaurants: Spud Ranch, Pats Place, Tin Top Burgers, Union Street Station, Muck & Fuss, New Braunfels Coffee, The Mess Around, Naegelin’s Bakery, Bootlegger Pizza, Krause’s Café, McAdoos Seafood, Myrons Prime Steakhouse.Bars/Night Life: The Oyster Bar, Calahans Pub & Pizza, Black Whale Pub, Moonshine & Ale, Phoenix Saloon, Scores Sports Bar, The Pour Haus, Downtown Social.Everyone in party must be 25 or older to book.
