Welcome to our Charlotte home, renovated in 2023. It features light-filled interiors, including two living rooms with exposed beams, a spacious kitchen and dining area, large bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a west-facing deck. Set on a 2-acre lot with a historic two-car barn, it’s near Lake Champlain, parks, hiking trails, and local dining. A 20 min drive to Burlington and Middlebury and only 60 min to Stowe. It’s ideal for families/groups of 4-6 seeking comfort and convenience in a scenic setting.The spaceWe have been carefully renovating the space to create a homey Vermont feel. This house is very special to us and we are excited to share our home and our beautiful home state with you!We’ve thoughtfully renovated and curated each of our rooms for a modern farmhouse feel – furnished with one of a kind antique pieces, with brand new modern furnishings and warm wood accents. New bathrooms, shiplap, paint, wood beams, lighting and electric was all thoughtfully installed and updated throughout the home.Kitchen/Dining: We love cooking in our open kitchen & dining room area for our family and friends around our dining table which sits 8-10 comfortably. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes, glassware, cookware, utensils, and more. A brand new Bosche dishwasher was installed to make clean up easier.Living Rooms: We have 2 beautiful living rooms in our home. The larger of the two has beautiful vaulted ceilings and exposed dark wood beams. Furnished with a brand new Sixpenny couch, 4 seating chairs which provide ample seating around the TV and antique accent tables and hutches. The second living room is a cozy den located right off the kitchen/dining area, again furnished with brand new Sixpenny seating and accented with antique pieces.Bathrooms: Each bathroom was newly renovated with high end tile, marble, cabinetry and hardware. We have 2 full bathrooms, one located off the Main Bedroom (Shower), another which is the largest of the three off the guest hallway (Shower/Bathtub) and the third which is a half bath right off the larger living room.Main Bedroom: Brand new queen bed, dresser and 2 large closets as well as a brand new en suite bathroom with a Shower. This room also has its own glider chair, Split AC/Heat unit, window shades and curtains.Guest Bedroom 1: Full size bed and brand new mattress, curtains and window shades, full size dresser and closet. Bookshelves with kids books and toys. Plenty of sunlight with 3 windows, and brand new lighting and electric installed.Guest Bedroom 2: Thoughtfully designed. Full size bed and brand new mattress, large desk and work area, with a comfortable desk chair as well as a reading nook. Plenty of sunlight with 3 windows, and brand new lighting and electric installed, as well as its own closet.Laundry: Equipped with brand new, full size GE washer and dryer and is connected to the larger of the bathrooms.Outdoor/Deck: Custom wood French patio doors off the larger living room lead to a gorgeous spacious wooden deck. We provide a dining table and chairs to comfortably enjoy the large grassy lawn and surrounding forest.High end, fast and reliable wi-fi.We’re about a 25 min drive from Burlington Airport, 5 minutes from the Charlotte Town Beach, and a short drive to local Vermont attractions like downtown Burlington, Stowe, Middlebury and more.Other things to note:We do have a lawn keeper who comes weekly to mow the lawn, we will do our best to ensure that lawn maintenance is complete before a guests stay, but in the case that we cannot make that work, lawn maintenance is fairly quick.During cold months, our heating can be controlled by the Nest which is located in the guest hallway. Our heating works very quickly!During warm months, we have two split AC/Heat units that are located in each side of the home – one in the Main Bedroom and one in the larger living room. During very hot months, we will provide high end fans for each of the guest bedrooms and suggest turning on the AC throughout the day with the doors open to flow throughout the home.Guest accessGuests will have the entire guest house to themselves. There is private parking in the driveway for 2 cars. It will be self-check-in with a lock box, code provided before arrival. We have a local property manager that is available if any issues arise.
