Description
Nestled in the picturesque Mahoosuc Mountains of Maine, this classic lodge can host your family gathering, corporate retreat or group of friends in a warm, inviting setting. This is an ideal location to get away from it all while having all of the amenities that will keep everyone satisfied. Once you have your food and beverages there is no need to leave the property. Hiking and biking are available just outside your door. There is plenty of room and lots to do outside. The kitchen is well stocked and can accommodate large groups.There are 6 bedrooms, two kings, two queen beds, one four bed bunk room and one with a double bed and a set of bunks. There is also a queen futon in the media area. There is a gourmet kitchen in which you may create memorable meals or you can hire a private chef to do this for you. There is a large great room for entertaining with a gas fireplace and a large dining space. The ground level features a walk out game and entertainment room with a theater set up, a pool table, a poker table and foosball. There are 4 1/2 bathrooms as well as a two (2) washer and dryer stations. In addition, there is a large entry room where you can store all your ski clothing and dry your boots. The kitchen has a professional gas stove, an over-sized three door refrigerator, a coffee and drink station and a dishwasher.There is a lot of outside living space with a large deck overlooking the mountains,. The deck has a gas grille (propane supplied) and outside dining table. On the lower level is a large year round hot tub and seasonal pool with pool towels supplied. There is also a fire pit as well as large flat yard for various games which are supplied.This is a smoke free property.If desired, there is an additional two bedroom apartment above the garage, as well as a one bedroom apartment below the garage for additional space. Wi Fi (high speed fiber optic internet) is supplied.In the winter, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling are steps from the front door. Sunday River Ski Area and Mt Abrams are a short drive away. There are many hiking trails in the area and wonderful bike riding. In addition, there is kayaking, canoeing, fly fishing. Within a 10 mile radius there are innumerable restaurants and bars, stores, sports centers.As you can see from previous guest reviews a clean property has always been very important to us. Our cleaning team has been with the property since 2008. In light of the recent Covid-19 situation we have increased our cleaning process to be in line with CDC and WHO guidelines.No pets are allowed and those with Service Dogs must notify the owners of their intent to bring a dog at the time of booking, so that arrangements can be made for a different cleaning service.
