Description

This is a riverfront cabin on the Hiawassee River with year round views of the mountains. You can trout fish steps from your back door and enjoy a riverside fire pit and picnic tables. There is a private two person hot tub, a community pool (open during the summer), and miles of walking trails. We provide tubes for your use to float down the river. If you enjoy fishing, trout are released weekly less than a half mile up river making this an excellent fishing location. The river is stocked and has a feeder.The cabin features 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. On the main floor is the master bedroom with a king bed, en suite bathroom, and private porch with hot tub. Upstairs you will find 2 guest rooms. One has two queen beds, the other has a queen and a twin over full bunk. The main floor has an office with a futon. We also provide a pack and play but you must bring your own sheet for this.There is enough parking for a max of three cars only. Only 6 guests per cabin allowed at the community pool at a time. Any reports of more than this can result in a possible fine and towing of the vehicle involved.There is a fully stocked kitchen, linens provided, stack stone wood burning fireplace, washer/dryer, private hot tub on the covered deck outside with a view of the river and mountains, covered parking, flat easy paved road access, and is across the street from the community pool and work out area. We offer smart TVs in each bedroom, along with the office, and a 50″ in the living room.It is 5 minutes from Lake Chatuge where you can rent boats. Also nearby are waterfalls, the Appalachian Trail, Brasstown Bald, Bell Mtn Scenic Overlook, GA Mtn Fairgrounds, Hamilton Gardens, Alpine Helen, whitewater rafting, etcPrior to booking you must notify how many people will be present at the house, and specify adults and children. Our minimum age of renting is 23 years old.**We also own another cabin in the area if you need extra space!**Distance from:Bell Mountain: 10 minutesGeorgia Mountain Fairgrounds: 10 minutesHelen: 20-25 minutesBrasstown Bald: 20 minutesPETS: Pets are allowed but limited to no more than one well-behaved, housebroken DOG. No puppies <1 year please. Pet fee is $75 for your entire stay to cover additional cleaning fees. Guest(s) must receive prior approval for pet. Dog must be flea and tick free and treated for fleas/ticks prior to arrival. We will retain your security deposit for flea/tick treatment if they are found after your stay. Dog is not allowed on the furniture or beds out of respect for other guests, cleaning logistics, and potential damage. If there is any evidence that the dog was on furniture you will forego your rental security deposit. Dog should be walked far from the cabin, to "do its business". If your dog has an accident close to the cabin, please scoop it up. Dog needs to be crated while Guest(s) is away.
