Updated cute and spacious bunkhouse-like cabin for a romantic retreat in a small old west-like town. Incredible views of Lightener Creek and trout ponds. Feed the rainbow trout and domestic ducks, hike, ride mountain bikes, and enjoy a campfire. At 6900 feet, it’s cooler than Durango so bring a jacket for the evenings. Rustic on the outside, but completely modern inside. Quick access to the Colorado Wildlife area, hiking of Twin Buttes, and only 10 minutes to downtown Durango. Close to skiing, fishing, hunting, and all the recreation the Durango area offers.You can cross-country ski or ride mountain bikes out the front door!Pets are welcome but please keep them off the beds and couch as the hair is challenging to remove. We will watch them for you if you’re taking the train or going somewhere you can’t take them.Weddings and other special events are possible.
