Downtown Main Street is 1.5 miles for excellent restaurants, shopping and night life without fighting traffic. Sarasota is mainly a car reliant city. However, the public bus stop is a two block walk. Taxis and Uber are readily available. SRQ airport is a ten minute drive.The sugar white sands of Lido Beach (my favorite) is a short 10 minute drive. World famous Siesta beach is a 20 minute drive. 1 block walk to Sarasota Bay.
