He was also a village trustee, and a member of the New York State Assembly. Interested in the arts and architecture, he drew plans and financed the historic Sampson Theater on Elm Street.After a day of wine tasting, hiking, swimming, kayaking and sightseeing, return to this relaxing, home away from home. The interior features original woodwork, hardwood floors, and comfortable furnishings. A cozy gas fireplace and multiple seating areas make the living room extra inviting. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals at home. Overlooking the fenced backyard and neighboring horse pasture, the three-season enclosed back porch has a high-top table for casual dining, and seating for entertaining.
