Welcome to Lightner Creek Canyon just minutes from downtown Historic Durango and <45 min to Purgatory Ski resort.The secluded and very private estate has plenty of room to hike, bike, or just enjoy the outdoors or better yet cozy by the spectacular stone fireplace while peering out the large living room window to see nature and the beautiful Silver Mountain.While you are close to the city, you will feel like you are nestled in the mountains. Enjoy the creek as you walk through the willows.HOUSE RULES:1. No Smoking or Vaping Inside Home or Near Doorways2. No Unregistered Overnight Guests3. No Unregistered Pets4. Report Any Damages or Issues Immediately5. Please Remove Outside Footwear When Entering Home (snowboots, cleats, skiboots, etc)CELLPHONES:Your cellphone service will probably not work at the house. It is best to set up Wi-Fi calling so you can use your cellphone. Note, set up Wi-Fi calling in a location that has cell phone service; otherwise, Wi-Fi calling will not be able to be set up once in a non-cell phone location.TRASH and RECYCING. The Guests shall dispose of all waste material generated during the Lease Term. Trash and recycling are picked up on Monday mornings. Trash cans are located on the South side of the equipment garage lean2 by Lightner Creek. There are bears in the area. Please keep trash lid secured with bungee clasps and do not place at road until Monday morning. *Note* You can recycle cardboard, paper, aluminum, steel cans, and some plastics. DO NOT put glass in recycle bin. If you wish to recycle glass, you can drive it to a drop off site on Technology Blvd. Place trash in container and seal appropriately so bears do not get into trash. All recycles must be placed in the recycle container. DO NOT PLACE trash in the recycle container.APPLIANCES:You're welcome to make use of all the appliances on the property. Here are the instructions/tips:• The oven – Select the bake button that correspond with upper or lower oven, then the choose temperature to heat oven. Keep in mind when cooking that the elevation is 7200 ft. Be sure to hit cancel when you are done cooking. The fan will operate until the temperature lowers.• The microwave – Be sure not to use metal or aluminum foil• The dishwasher – Select level of clean then start and close the door. If you open door during the cleaning operation, select start/resume before closing door.• The washing machine – Located upstairs next to primary bedroom. Be sure to keep washing machine door open when not in use to prevent moldy smells.• The smart TV – There are detailed instructions and more remotes in the drawer to the left of the living room TV.• The hot tub – Plan ahead so the hot tub can heat up to your desired temperature.
