Riverwood Retreat is a secluded cabin that sits atop a 300 foot cliff overlooking a horseshoe bend in the New River with breathtaking long range views. Inside, the cabin comfortably accommodates four people with a King Bedroom and attached full bath and a Queen bedroom with an adjacent full bath. The cabin will allow for up to eight people total with a pull-out sofa bed and futon in the living area. The cabin has a large living area with a gas fireplace, full kitchen and washer and dryer. Wi-Fi, Cable TV, Blu-Ray/DVD player and Bluetooth Stereo are all provided.Outside, enjoy the large wrap around deck, listen to the river rapids from below and experience views from the hot tub that you will never forget. A gas and charcoal grill is provided along with propane and grilling utensils. Access to the New River allows for easy swimming, tubing, fishing and kayaking. Up above the cabin is a fire pit and firewood.You will feel a thousand miles away from it all but still only fifteen minutes from downtown West Jefferson with its welcoming small-town atmosphere, multiple shops, restaurants and bars, and multiple grocery stores nearby. Less than one hour from Boone.
