Description

The Bears Den is a secluded cabin nestled on a hillside in the midst of tall pines and beautiful aspens, just 10 minutes from the historic mining and casino town of Cripple Creek. Enjoy magnificent views of Mt. Pisgah and surrounding mountain ranges from every window. We have made the Den very cozy with its 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a game room, and a back deck with a grill and seating. Special touches from Renee and Michael make your romantic getaway or family stay an unforgettable experience.Whether you use The Bears Den as a base for exploring the surrounding small towns and nature adventures, or as a spot to just sit and relax in the midst of the pines and aspens and enjoy the wind through the trees, we know you will come away from your stay refreshed and relaxed. You will surely appreciate the less crowded roads, the offbeat little stores and old mining towns, and all the opportunities for natural adventures in a part of the state far less familiar to many visitors to Colorado.Did I mention the views? Just imagine sitting on the deck having your morning cup of coffee while soaking up the warm Colorado sunshine and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and trees. This is the perfect place to enjoy the outdoors. Lots of places for hiking, even just stepping out of the cabin is an amazing place to hike and take in theviews.Located within 5 miles of groceries, restaurants, and gas stations. We are also located not far from Pikes Peak, Cripple Creek, Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods and Cog railway. If you’re looking to venture even further, we are an hour away from Breckenridge, Vail, Salida and Canon City. The Bears Den highlights one of Colorado’s attractions that is often overlooked: a true mountain life experience. The Bears Den has 3 queen bedrooms and one queen sofa bed in the living room and a wood stove. Wifi connection is very good. Our Den is your home away from home, fully stocked with all necessities.
