A Mountain Cabin BEST suited for a Young couple and up to 4 people who are outdoor enthusiasts looking to experience the great oudoors and spend there time outside to breathe fresh mountain air and explore, build a fire in the Fire Pit and listen to the crickets at night over the dark sky filled with stars, take an outdoor shower, Sit in the Outdoor Sundance Hottub, BBQ on the weber propane grill, swim in the local Sandburg Creek water hole, Play Volleyball or Badmington and yet for tech savy people that can navigate modern entertainment systems with bloothtooth and playlist ability, surround sound with a smart HDTV and all the APPS for movies, etc. ****The steps going upstairs to the bedrooms are a little steep and the outside terrain can be uneven so this place is not recommended for the elderly or people with limited mobility and balance. The cabin has a modern touch of technology with Air conditioning and Fans! 4KHDTV with built in APPS such as Netflix, HULU, Amazon Prime, Spotify, etc.. Onkyo surround sound system with Klipsch speakers and Blooth tooth ability from your phone to play your playlist. 200 MPS spectrum internet. The TV upstairs is old school and not smart but can play the Huge selection of DVDs available and VHS from back in the day ! and it is not useless as some have said. along with a Onkyo stereo which can play cassette tapes and CD’s. Check out the multiple board games such as Monopoly, Cranium, Trivial persuit, Checkers, Uno , Master Mind and more.Less then 2 hours from NYC you can be transported to the wilderness with wild Turkey, Blach Bear, Night Owls and all the wildlife the catskills has to offer. Located near the*****BashaKill wildlife preserve and winery where you can Kayack, birdwatch, fish or sample the local Wines and food. IT is a MUST !!! 10 Minutes from the Town of Wurtsboro for shopping at the Canal Town Emporium, CrystalConnections and dining at Pasta D’oro, Las Mananitas Mexican, The Red Dot Vegetarian and classic American at Danny’s. The Wurtsboro cafe is also in town for breakfast and lunch. Do your Grocery shopping at THE G Mart supermarket on route 209 S. Not too far to the *****Westwind Orchard and cidery,***** Kelder’s Family farm, **Arrowwood farm and distillery. Check out *******Sam’s point and Ice cave mountain in Minnewaska state park (You must go online and make reservations to park your car). *****The Dale- for Pizza, Burgers , NY craft breverages and weekend brunch; ****** High Voltage Creek Bar- great outdoor spot weather permitting with Monthly Gay events and ******Forage & Gather Market (foragemountaindale.com) for gluten free breakfast and sandwich foods for lunch all in the Town of Mountaindale 10 minutes away. A Binder is supplied inside with Maps and all the places of interest including Woodbury Commons shopping outlet. Power can go out during severe storms or NorthEast Hurricanes which have been occuring more often in the north east and have consequeneces. If power goes out it is usually not more than an hour or two. There is absolutely nothing I can do. Light the multiple candles and a lantern is supplied. The power will eventually go back on. If you have Electrophobia and cannot be without power at all this is not the place for you. This is a cabin in the catskill mountains and it is all about the weather that can affect electrical supply. But the beauty is in the fresh air, water, and wildlife. Hot water is limited because there is a hot water tank so if multiple people take showers at the same time you will have to wait for the tank to heat up again. The water from the Faucet is fresh natural well water 180 feet below the ground filtered by Mother Nature. The best Free spring water you can drink!!!! Makes your hair and skin soft and chemical free.
