This is a picturesque, rustic contemporary 7000 sq. ft. home on 15 acres with gorgeous views, and comes with great amenities: an inground swimming pool, outdoor shower, hot tub, and an outdoor firepit, just to name a few. Professionally cleaned after each stay and a fully stocked kitchen. There are 11 spacious bedrooms to accommodate a large family or a group of friends, and sleeps up to 30 people very comfortably.The internet is extremely fast, 500mbps down and 300mbps up, making this property a great work-from-home retreat!*We offer long-term rental specials, contact us for more information!The minimum stay mid June, July and August is one week.*The home has a new generator that automatically powers the home in the event of an outage!*We have partnered with a concierge service that offers luxury services such as caterers, private chefs, grocery delivery, experiences, and more! The beds have fresh linens, and the bathrooms are stocked with plenty of towels and paper products to ensure you have the things you need for your stay.Outside is a pool which is amazing for those who stay during the summer months, and a hot tub with a view that will take your breath away is available year-round. There is also an outdoor firepit, a fun activity is to hunt for firewood in the nearby forest, then gather around and enjoy the warmth and glow of a crackling fire while sharing stories and making memories. Plenty of firewood is available as well.The family room on the main floor is great for movies and family fun, it has an open space concept design, a great fireplace that will keep everyone nice and toasty during the colder nights.The guest/game house has three bedrooms and two and half bath on the second floor, and the game room is on the first floor.(please note pictures of guest/game house are coming soon).You can enjoy privacy off the main road with a well-groomed landscape and eye-catching mountain views of Vermont. It’s perfect for family and friends looking to enjoy a seasonal retreat in a country home.The rural estate is perfect for winter sport enthusiast, summer adventurers, and autumn lovers. The open concept main level features a large kitchen and dining area for group eating. The spacious common area offers comfy couches, a big fireplace to warm up to, TV for entertainment, and huge windows with plenty of natural light. The whole house has wood panel walls and decorations to give a mountain cabin ambiance.The lower-level family room features a big couch, and tv for comfortable relaxation and entertainment. There are also three bedrooms, one is good for some solitude, while another has amazing bunk beds that kids just love. The house is equipped with smart TV’s for easy connecting along with great Wi-Fi for all devices. The front has a covered front porch with rocking chairs for relaxing amidst mountain views. Enjoy the breathtaking foliage in the fall as you witness Vermont’s countryside in its full festive colors.There is plenty of parking on the driveway and there is a paved section of the driveway with a basketball hoop that’s ready for game time. The outdoor patio is perfect to enjoy the summer weather, garden atmosphere, outdoor BBQ’s, and stargazing. The well-groomed yard is great for activities such as volleyball, horseshoes, bocce, and sledding. There are miles of trials for nature walks and hiking.The Perfect DayIn the winter, wake up early to hit the slopes, come back to the house to eat lunch and warm up by the fireplace, then head over to the Windham Hill Inn for fine dining of the best seasonal cuisine like cider Brined Pork Chop, at night relax as a group with a movie and some popcorn.For the Summer or Fall, sharpen your golf game at the Tater Hill Golf Club, enjoy a lunch and a cocktail at their clubhouse restaurant, take a late-afternoon hike on a picturesque trail, and finally enjoy an outdoor BBQ during the sunset with a fun yard game.Don’t forget to cool off with a refreshing dip in the pool! The views are absolutely breathtaking, a real treat for summer guests and something you will look forward to every day! In between swims, hunt for firewood in the forest and pile it up next to the outdoor firepit, ready to burn as the sun sets.At the end of the day, soak those muscles in the hot tub, and gather around the fire with your favorite beverage, and a good book, unless there is a lively conversation to be had. A real treat is to watch the sunset while in the arms of a loved one, with a drink to keep you warm.Then it is time for bed, and a great night’s sleep so you will wake up refreshed and relaxed for the next day of amazing Vermont fun!The NeighborhoodWindham is a small, historical town with a warm, local atmosphere. There are plenty of stores within minutes of driving for all of your supplies and groceries. Experience farm-to-table dining at cozy inns and restaurants, as well.If you like to cook, locally owned and operated farms provide the freshest produce, eggs, meats, cheeses, and baked goods. The eggs are a special delight, their golden yellow yolks are perfect for making omelets or boiled and cut up in a salad. You can pair your food selections with local wines and beers, which can be purchased either directly from the wineries and breweries, or in any number of shops and stores.For guests saying during the warmer months, the berry picking (June to October) is also very popular, as is fishing in the lakes and rivers, or you can go boating, rafting, and tubing. The swimming pool is open from the end of May to the end of September, the actual dates depends on weather.For those who love to fish, the lakes and rivers are stocked with trout, and there are local fish to catch as well, bass and pike to name a couple. You can fly fish, cast and reel with lures, or use live bait, whichever format you wish to choose! And in Manchester there is a fishing school which can teach you techniques to increase the chances you go home with a trophy or meal for the family.In addition to the fishing schools, Manchester has a ton to offer: great restaurants and bars, cute shops and art galleries, and a large discount outlet mall for premier clothes and accessories at great prices. For those looking for something sportier, you can learn how to drive off-road with the Land Rover Driving Experience school, and there is a shooting school to improve your hunting and target shooting techniques.
