Ocean Melody is just a short 1 minute stroll to the beach. This house is located in the Pelican Park Subdivision on a private drive that is calm and quiet. Ocean Melody is only 250 feet to the beach, with no streets to cross. This cottage is very well-equipped and furnished and kept in excellent condition by the owners. The location at the end of a shared drive is private and out of the way yet so close to the beach! There is no thru traffic in this subdivision, which has only 13 cottages. You can relax without worries about the kids (or pets). There is a convenient storage under the house for your beach gear and a private hot & cold out-side shower.South Nags Head is arguably the best location on the Outer Banks for a family vacation. It is a totally residential area enveloped by the Cape Hatteras National Seashore yet is only minutes from a variety of retail and recreational outlets (Jennettes Pier, Tanger Outlet Mall, many restaurants). Families will find the quiet, low-traffic and non-commercial atmosphere relaxing yet appreciate how easy it is to drive to the grocery store, restaurants, the movie theater, or a putt-putt course. The large multi-use path that parallels Old Oregon Inlet Road for its 4.5 mile length and is great for running, biking, or walking.
