Description

Be soothed by the sounds of a bubbling stream as you drift off to sleep. Start the day lounging on the deck surrounded by gardens, trees, and mountains. In winter cozy up to the woodstove while watching snowfall in the forest through our big picture windows. Play records from our vinyl collection in the double-height, light-filled, vaulted living space. Reconnect yourself to nature in a contemporary cabin on a stream.The house is tucked away at the end of a private road with just a few other houses nearby. The town of Phoenicia has shops, a flea market, a farmers market, farm stands, and foodie destinations like the Phoenicia Diner and Woodstock Brewery. Near hiking, skiing, fly fishing, and more. The Menla Mountain Retreat center with Dewa spa is right up the road. Besides dipping your feet in the stream, the house is within walking distance of a few swimming holes.This is a separate guest house that sits next to our main house.*Please note – this house is on a secluded private mountain road – 4 wheel drive is preferred for icy winter weather.Instagram: @SereneRetreatPhoenicia
