Serenity is a relaxing getaway tucked away among the trees of Big Bear. It comes complete with a recently remodeled, spacious interior, a charming private backyard, and onsite parking. Plus, it’s minutes away from grocery stores, ski slopes, the lake, and the village. This is truly the stuff of fairy tales.Waking up at Serenity after a night tucked away under crisp linens and a perfectly fluffy duvet is quite an experience. As you wipe the sleep from your eyes you’re greeted with California sunshine, dappling the wooden walls and ceiling of your cabin and ushering you into an exciting new day. Through a cracked window you can hear the birds chirping. The forest is a hotbed of activity in the morning no matter the season, and you’re a part of the natural landscape now.Whip up a lumberjack’s breakfast on the gleaning kitchen countertops and enjoy it, as well as a piping hot cup of coffee, on the back deck. Or, if you’re visiting in the winter, cozy up by the fireplace or around the dining room table and make a plan for the day’s activities.AvantStay provides an upscale experience with services that elevate your stay and save time so you can enjoy every moment. Guests have access to a 24/7 support team. Whether it’s fridge stocking or in-home massages, AvantStay offers a variety of upgrades & experiences to enhance your stay.Home Truths:- This home accepts a maximum of 2 pets. But pets must be approved in advance and are subject to an additional fee of $150 per pet. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay’s approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.- Guests are responsible for disposing trash at local dumpsite in accordance with City of Big Bear policy. Charges may apply if left on property- All fireplaces are currently out of order.- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.- AvantStay plows and clears the driveway and one pathway to the front door. We provide shovels for guests to use should they wish to clear paths on any other part of the property.Parking Details:The garage accommodates 1 vehicle.The driveway accommodates 1 vehicle.—The room configuration is as follows:Bedroom 1 / Doube bed w/ futonBedroom 2 / Doube bed w/ futon—Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.You will be asked to sign a Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy prior to your stay.This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit and liability for any fire or property damage costs.As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff.
