*I also manage the 5 bedroom/3 bath property directly next to this property. Great for large groups to rent both.Escape to our tranquil waterfront lot situated on pristine Shupac Lake. Come swim, boat, fish, hunt, float the Ausable river, head off road to the Snowmobile trails, or just relax on the water on our paddleboards, kayaks, and a canoe that are available to our guests. The kid will love the water trampoline and children’s play set. We also have a pontoon available for rent.*I also manage the 5 bedroom/3 bath property directly next to this property. Please inquire about renting both properties!THE PROPERTY-Rental is directly behind the main house but completely separate-4 bedrooms, 2 full baths-RV parking available on site. Electric and water hook up only.-Guests have full access to lakefront, swim area, dock-only a few hundred feet from snowmobile trails-water trampoline (shared w/ neighbor)-children’s playset-large family room with pool table, dart board, poker table, TV with Direct TV, HBO, Cinemax, Bar Sink, Bar Fridge, Keurig-full kitchen-exercise room-BBQ grill-picnic table-pet friendly and dog kennel-fire pit (firewood available for purchase)-rental includes use of stand up paddle boards, paddle boat, canoe and kayaksTHE LAKEShupac Lake is 110 acres of crystal clear water perfect for swimming and boating. The lake is 97 feet deep at its deepest point. Enjoy watching the resident bald eagles hunt and observe the resident loons swim under the water.-the lakefront area has a firm bottom, no muck, great for kids-a sandy beach and boat launch is just around the corner (5 minute walk)-great visibility for snorkeling and scuba diving-no wake lake, no exceptions, numerous all sports lakes are within a few minutes drive-great fishing with species including bluegill, brown trout, largemouth bass, rainbow trout, northern pike, rock bass and smallmouth bass-the lake is a DNR designated protected trout lake, as such ice fishing is PROHIBITED, however, several ice fishing lakes are very close byTHINGS TO DO-Spring/Summer/Fall-boating-swimming-hiking-Hartwick Pines State Park-mountain biking-camping-horseback riding-disc golfing-kayaking-canoeing-brewery tours-geocaching-ATV and offroad vehicle riding trails-winery tours-fishing-hunting-firearm and archery range-fall colors tours-day trips to Traverse City, Petoskey, Mackinac Island, Gaylord-bird watching- home to the Kirtlands Warbler, resident bald eagles, loons, herons, cranes, among many others-golf: within the “Gaylord Golf Mecca”.
