In the summertime you can enjoy the outdoor heated pool, clay tennis court and grills. Lots of trails available in the Green Mountain National Forest for hiking and mountain biking. Beer Festivals in the summer and fall are not to be missed. And it’s a beautiful place to enjoy the fall foliage too. Check that ski trail is open prior to skiing on it. Ski the trail at your own risk.DRIVEWAY / PARKINGWe have a 3-car max rule. For mountain driving and uncertain conditions, we do recommend 4×4 or all-wheel drive vehicles. Absolutely, no trailers or RVs permitted.CONDITIONS / WEATHERNo refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control. VT is a naturally cold place and there is always the possibility of broken heat or no hot water for which we are not responsible. If snow or cold temperatures are in the forecast, please come prepared with enough food should adverse weather cause challenges getting to / leaving our home.-During the winter season, you can expect snowy conditions, icy roads, and occasional snowstorms. An All-Wheel Drive (AWD) or Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) vehicle is required to book this property. Please exercise extra caution when driving and ensure your vehicle is adequately prepared for snowy conditions.-Please be aware that inclement weather may lead to power outages or internet disruptions. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for circumstances beyond our control, such as power or internet loss.-We are unable to make any exceptions from our cancellation policy. Stratton ski resort is a 25-minute drive from the house.Hiking • The Green Mountain National Forest is a great place to hike around and explore Haystack Mountain Trail. The Harriman Reservoir is a short 30-minute drive and is a great place to enjoy kayaking and lakeshore hiking.Nearest International Airport • Albany International Airport (67 miles)
