The Whiting Cottage is your quintessential “classic Maine cottage.” Built in 1880, it is full of charm and ornate detail with lots and lots of room.2-3 night minimum September to late June.Sunday to Sunday, 7 day rental late June thru Labor Day.It’s perfect for hosting families, friends, company outings, as well as your unique special event – with 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 5 living rooms, 3 kitchens, 1 kitchenette, there is plenty of space to spread out, or to be together! Classic large kitchen area to have those large gatherings around the table….let the memories begin! The entire home has the capability to split into 4 separate units, so would be perfect for families and friends to come together or have their own separate space.The balcony is one of the best spots in the house to sit and relax and breathe the fresh salty air (we might be biased), accompanied by a large deck and huge front farmers porch (perfect for relaxing and watching the world go by!)! No worries about parking, there is plenty! Whether you are here to vacation, a romantic getaway, or attending a wedding, corporate event, family reunions, or whatever it may be, the Whiting Cottage is waiting for you – Be Our Guest!We offer high-speed wireless internet access and have 2 Smart TV’s where you can stream any of your favorites: Netflix, Hulu, HBO, Disney+, etc! There is no cable.Updated kitchen appliances and washer + dryer!Leave your car in the driveway…walk to the beach!Walk across the street and you will find the Cliff Walk – where you can have the best walk to the beach or do it for the bold views of the Atlantic Ocean!
