‘Snead Island Tree House’ Waterfront Apartment on 2 Acre LotThis is a unique piece of old Florida on Snead Island. We remodeled the apartment in 1997 with hickory floors in the living/dining room. The kitchen has hickory cabinets with granite countertops and a slate floor which flows into the bathroom. The bedroom is carpeted and has a select comfort queen size bed with cherry furniture, including a desk and TV. The living room and bedroom have cathedral ceilings and clerestory windows. The living room has plenty of seating to enjoy the 46′ HD TV, ROKU, DVD, VCR or CD players, along with a gorgeous view. A La-Z-Boy queen air hide-a-bed with matching love seat.The apartment ‘tree house’ is nestled amongst hundred year old oaks on two acres which include Mango trees and pond. When in season, you can enjoy tree ripened mangoes. While having breakfast on the porch, you’ll have a beautiful view of the Manatee River. In the evening, watching the sunset while having cocktails by the fire will provide a chance to see the manatees swim past the boat dock, or you may choose to watch the sunset from the Jacuzzi.Cathy and I live in the main house and will help you settle in and resolve any problems that might arise.We are 1 1/2 hours from Disney World, and an hour from Busch Gardens and Mote Marine, a world class aquamarine research facility which gives tours.Keywords: Above Garage Apartment
