Snowflake River Ridge – Eagle Nest – Hot Tub, amenities, fishing in Elk River, 3mi Banner ElkSnowflake River Ridge (formerly Catch and Release) is a classic cozy cabin located just a few yards away from the magnificent prestigious Elk River and very conveniently located only approximately 5 minutes (3 miles) from scenic downtown Banner Elk with plentiful restaurants and boutiques.This beautiful 2-bedroom 2-bathroom cabin (sleeps 6) is perfect for a family getaway to the High Country! The cabin is also located near 3 major ski resorts.The main level is living area features hardwood floors, a gas-log fireplace, flat screen TV and a large cozy couch. Just behind the living room is the fully equipped kitchen with an island with 3 bar stools, stainless appliances, Keurig (and Drip) coffee pot, and all the utensils you need to prepare a delicious meal! There is a separate dining table that sits 4 people. Also on the main lower level is a full bathroom featuring granite counters and a tile shower, and a full-sized laundry room. Directly off the side of the kitchen, step outside onto the covered patio and enjoy your meal at the table with enough room for 6 people! There is an amazing newer 6-person hot tub as well.Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms and 1 shared full bath. The spacious Master bedroom has a king bed, 2 separate twin beds in an alcove finished with barn-wood accents, and additional seating space in front of the large screen TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed. Both bedrooms have flat screen TVs for your enjoyment. Fishing in the Elk River is catch and release only using artificial bait with barbless hooks. All anglers must have a valid NC fishing license on their person anytime they are fishing.- Stocked fishing ponds for catch and release fishing.- Please note that there is no land-line phone in this cabin.- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV’s. For information about ATV rentals please visit: Off Road Adventures website.- There is an additional $35 per night amenity fee (max $175) in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.-Roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access the property in winter months. We are happy to help you find the home with the access you are most comfortable with, any time of year!- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a “starter set” of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.- NCREC Broker Name: Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. NCREC License Number: 298198-This home allows up to 1 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.-CANCELLATION POLICY – Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
