Description
Welcome to Southwest Harbor Hideaway! This eclectic buoy wonderland is nestled in the woods & centrally located in Acadia National Park. Sleeps up to 10 guests & great for families & groups. 2 master suites w/ king beds, air-conditioning throughout, & king-sized bunk beds! Amazing backyard entertaining area. Tons of amenities: kayaks, paddleboards, bikes, cornhole, & large firepit w/ firewood! Private yet convenient – close to the ocean, downtown Southwest Harbor, Seawall Beach, Bass Harbor Light & Echo Lake. The perfect hub for your vacation!This 1,700 square foot home is a great spot for one or more families, or a group of friends! On the first floor, you’ll find a master suite with lots of windows and natural light, a comfortable king-sized bed and private en-suite full bathroom. On the second floor, you’ll find a second master suite with a king-sized bed and private en-suite bathroom that includes a romantic clawfoot tub. The cozy second floor is covered in barnwood giving it a warm feel. Back on the first floor, you’ll find two additional sleeping areas – a bunk room with a set of king-sized bunk beds and a private sitting room/dressing room that can be entirely closed off for privacy and sleeping. This room’s creative sleeping arrangement is perfect for a few children or two couples. All three of these sleeping areas and the living room have heat pumps/mini splits so that the space is conveniently set up for running air conditioning (A/C) or heat for your convenience. Also, excellent 500 mbps fiber optic internet exists throughout the house.Next to the king bunkroom is a full bathroom with shower and tub en-suite. Finally, for even more sleeping options, a set of twin-sized bunk beds can be found in a cute nook off the first floor common hallway area. Outside on the first-floor back deck, there is a brand new, 10 person outdoor dining table and chairs for enjoying family meals together during the beautiful Maine summer. The house also has outside a gas grill, fire pit, kayaks, bikes, and woods to roam on a private road with no neighbors or crowds! You’ll also find a fully equipped kitchen for all of your cooking needs, a Roku TV, comfortable living room furniture, great Wifi for working from home, and an eclectic Maine coastal vibe!For those interested in possible events at the house, please inquire with the hosts.
