Space Age Atomic House / Resort – Twin PalmsWelcome to the Palm Springs Space-Age Atomic House! *Featured on the 2023 Twin Palms Modernism Tour* 1962 architectural gem meticulously restored in 2021 to it’s mid-century modern purist detail with modern interior designer updates and finishes. Originally designed by Los Angeles architect, Cary Bigman, who also is responsible for the Gala House at 445 S. Monte Vista Dr. on the 2020 Modernism tour. From the living area with circular custom sofa enjoy the walls of glass that showcase the large heated pool and sunny south facing private backyard with palm tree & mountain views. Open kitchen and dining allow enjoyment of the stone Bigman-styled fireplace. Each of the 3 bedrooms have a very private feel with direct outdoor access. Home is on a large private lot nestled in the exclusive Twin Palms Estates neighborhood. Be amongst the first to enjoy this tastefully remodeled icon!Other things to note –Pool heat (84 degrees) is an extra $75/day or $400/week from Oct 15 – May 15 and is payable upon check-in via online private payment service. Pool heat is not optional, unless the stay is for 5 days or more.The fireplace is decorative and not for actual use.AC thermostat range is 76-82 degrees. Heat range is 65-78 degrees. This is to ensure the HVAC system functions properly year-round.All property televisions are Smart TVs and come with major applications; no Cable TV, guests may use their own subscriptions.You must be 25 years of age or older in order to rent this property. Maximum of 8 adults and 2 children allowed by the city.PETS/ SERVICE ANIMALS: Only house trained dogs are allowed (no cats or other animals). Applicable pet fees of $45/ per pet, per night are assessed, which may be adjusted based on the size of dog and length of stay. Animals are not allowed on bedding or furniture, and must be under the control of owner at all times. Note: post check out if animal waste is found on the property or animal hair is found on bedding/ furniture guests may be subject to an ADDITIONAL cleaning fee of $100.
