Spacious yet cozy classic Maine coastal cottage built in 1912 with views of the water. Adjacent to all of the features of Castine, the house is a 2 minute walk to the water, 5 minute walk to forest preserve and lighthouse and 5 minute bike ride to town. Watch and hear the bell at the entrance to Castine harbor.On the first floor, there is a beamed living room with original architectural details, dining room, kitchen with adjacent eating area, powder room, laundry room and a den/office/tv room, bathroom and a large sun porch.Upstairs are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The master bedroom has a balcony facing Penobscot Bay and separate full bath; the second large bedroom has a separate bathroom with a claw foot tub; there are 2 additional bedrooms and full bath with another old fashioned tub.There is an outdoor patio area, BBQ, large comfortable yard and a garden sitting area.
