Tucked off a winding country road, at the end of a curving drive way is a 18th century-style home with 4 bedrooms, 2 ½ bathrooms, 2 living rooms, and acres of grass lawns and forests.This home has European decorative touches with all modern amenities including zoned heat, central air, high speed internet, Apple TV and Sonos speakers.There are 4 bedrooms on the second floor, the large master has a King bed and an en suite bath and skylights. Two other bedrooms have queen beds and the fourth has 2 twin beds.An open plan kitchen with a large butcher block island faces a dining room with a red brick hearth, wood-burning stove and a large wooden table with enough seating for everyone.The ground floor offers two separate living rooms, each with a fireplace/wood-burning stove. The larger sitting room has a open wood-burning fireplace, 2 long couches for napping, and plenty of windows to let in the light. The second cozy TV room has a large flat-screen TV and seating for watching whatever catches your interest on Netflix, or Apple TV.A secluded library contains books, games, cards, and puzzles for children and adults, perfect for an evening diversion.The kitchen has everything you need to cook…if you wish to.Stretch out on the expansive back deck complete with a large outdoor dinning table, several umbrellas, comfy outdoor furniture and a grill. Set up the outdoor ping pong table, roast s’mores by the fire pit or just kick back gazing at a broad grass lawn bordered by a charming little creek. Beyond the creek lie 80 acres of uninterrupted forest where you can hike the trails, spy wildflowers in the summer and maple trees tapped for syrup in the winter. The property has a very private feel but convenient to small villages with farmer’s markets, antiques and quaint coffee shops in only 15 minutes. Also close to numerous hiking trails and the major ski resorts, Belleayre and Hunter Mountain.
