This spacious apartment is located on a quiet side street in the heart of Bar Harbor. The house is close to the Bar Island land bridge path, the Shore Path, harborfront, Village Green, restaurants, shops, bakeries, grocery store, natural foods store, cinema, museum, banks, post office, drug store, and other village amenities. Bar Harbor is a walkable destination, with connector trails to Acadia National Park, and a free Island Explorer bus service located nearby at the Village Green.Renters must be able to navigate stairs as this rental unit is on the 2nd floor. For reference, we also have two separate rental units on the first floor of this 3-family turn-of-the-century home. For more information check out VRBO: Heart of Bar Harbor (HA 4998428) & Bar Harbor Hideaway (HA 7857609).The spacious, private 2nd-floor apartment has its own entry from the front porch, with 16 steps leading to the 2nd-floor spacious unit with 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds, 2 full bathrooms (one with claw foot tub and a separate shower, and the other with combo tub/shower), a fully appointed kitchen/dining room with cathedral ceiling – with herbs, spices, coffee, tea, and all the miscellaneous kitchen tools and appliances just like home. The dining area has a table with seating for four, as well as a separate bench.The kitchen leads to a large living room with a cathedral ceiling, a large sectional sofa, a reading nook with two chairs, lots of windows, and a wall-mounted Roku TV. The deck off of the living room has a gas grill, overlooks a small private yard with greenery with stairs leading down to the yard with outdoor seating, and is a wonderful spot to sip your morning coffee or enjoy a glass of wine in the warmth of the late afternoon sun.
