See #580799 for more information about the property and my services to my guests. This property is a newer listing so I’m keeping the price low to increase its visibility. It’s an amazing bargain!Relax in this elegantly designed and beautifully furnished studio with a beautiful panoramic view of the Red Rocks. The studio has a private feeling with its own entrance and parking space. It is a self-contained unit within a house. You will be high up on the side of the mesa for marvelous scenery and quiet. Enjoy the peace and energy of Sedona in this modern, Southwest style studio. It is bright and light-filled with high ceilings. The sliding glass doors onto the private patio and huge view window give it a spacious feel. Towels and linens for the queen size bed are provided.Sedona is spread out over 19 square miles. When choosing a property, make sure you stay in Sedona proper or you could end up spending more time in traffic rather than on the trails.In these challenging times PLEASE GET TRAVEL INSURANCE!Your PatioIt has a completely private, outside patio with a flower garden and outdoor dining area. It’s a lovely place to read or eat outside in the sunshine, or if you prefer shade the patio turns into a lanai with a 11 ‘x 13′ retractable awning. It is surrounded by tall pinion pines, Arizona cypress, fruit trees and chaparral vegetation. You will see quail, hummingbirds, cardinals, ravens, orioles, many other colorful birds, javelina, deer and rabbits depending on the season. The coyotes are a rare visitor but if you sit outside in the evening enjoying the trillion stars you will hear them. (None of our critters are aggressive.)Italian Tile BathroomThe bathroom is done in ornate Italian tile and marble floor with a mosaic shower wall created by the artist owner. It has designer linens, a tub and shower combination and Moen fixtures.The walk-in closet has plenty of storage space, a cooler and ironing board/iron. There’s even a detailed trail map in the hallway.KitchenThe cute sunken galley kitchen just the right size for easy food preparation and well stocked with appliances, dishes, utensils and even some condiments. It has plenty of pots and an induction cook top. A portable convection oven is available if you wish in addition to the microwave and toaster oven. There is a Mr. Coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker and electric hot water kettle for tea as well as a selection of coffee pods and tea bags.Location, LocationIt is in great central location with a one-minute drive or a half mile walk to Whole Foods Market and a mile or two to other supermarkets and restaurants. It is a short drive to uptown and Tlaquepaque, our upscale area for shopping, galleries and restaurants and the gorgeous trails that make Sedona popular. The Verde Shuttle can get you around Sedona and to Cottonwood.TrailsWe are a 25-minute hike from the Airport Vortex and loop trail. It is a great place to watch a sunset with its gorgeous Eastern vistas that light up magenta as the sun goes down. There are dozens of trails within a 10-minute drive both easy and adventurous. You can take the complimentary Sedona Shuttle to the more popular trailheads. The studio comes with a Red Rock pass so you won’t need to purchase one if you choose to drive to a trailhead.EntertainmentIn the evening relax watching shows on the new 40’ flat screen TV with both Netflix and Amazon Prime free streaming movies (40,000 plus), news or free TV series with no annoying commercials. Or watch YouTube TV live or recorded. For music we subscribe to Amazon Music. For the more adventurous try the hot air balloons, a helicopter sightseeing tour of our hoodoos and Sinagua ruins or take a small airplane for a flight over the Grand Canyon. For the really adventurous, try the Predator Zip Line over the wild animals in the nearby Out of Africa wildlife preserve. Bicycle rental shop is a half-mile away and the horseback riding is a half-hour away.Temperature ControlThe whole building has central heat and air conditioning. There is also an extra in-wall air conditioner and heater in the studio unit to fine tune the temperature to your taste if needed.WIFIFree high speed wireless internet is easy to connect to and a desk, with a view of course, if you need to keep in touch with the outside world.Upon check-out, no need to make the bed or take out the garbage. You just put the dirty laundry in the laundry basket and wash any dishes you might have used. That’s all! No other surprises or work.There is off-street parking on the right side of the paved driveway with easy pull-in and back-out and a private walkway to your patio entrance. Two cars can be parked–front to back, not side by side–in the driveway. The driveway will not accommodate RVs, monster trucks, trailers, pick-up trucks or any vehicle over 4,500 lbs (such as a large SUV) because it will crack. Please contact owner for parking instructions in our second gravel driveway or if you have a heavy vehicle. If planning on having more than two vehicles, please contact owner.If you have an electric vehicle, please bring you own cable that plugs into your car and heavy-duty extension cord. There is a 110 plug by the garage door which charges the car overnight (and it’s complimentary)!The studio is designed for one or two guests. Maximum number of guests is three. Third guest needs to be approved by owner prior to booking and there is an additional charge of $25 per night payable through VRBO one week in advance. For long-term stays over 14 days, the additional cleaning fee every seven days is $75.Events are not permitted, meaning a gathering of four or more people.Not suitable for young children.No smoking, vaping, candles or incense.
