Description
Spectacular setting, majestic mountains, sandy waterfront& dock on Ossipee LakeArriving at the cottage feels like a chapter in a story book – down a dirt road, through a rolling golf course, into a stunning hardwood forest, winding your way out to the southern tip of Deer Cove on the shores of beautiful Ossipee Lake. The anticipation builds. Where are we going? Then…you round the bend to the cottage and you are greeted by the most jaw-dropping long view of Ossipee Lake. The view is complete with a stunning backdrop of several of NH’s awe-inspiring White Mountains – including Mt. Washington, Mt. Chocorua, Mt. Monroe, and Wildcat Mountain. WOW! This warm and welcoming north-facing cottage has sunrises and sunsets to write home about. The cottage is not in a development or part of a housing association. It shares a road with only 6 other homes. It’s the perfect place to unwind and relax. The outside features a half acre of land, a private dock (bring a boat or jet skis) and 180 feet of private, sandy waterfrontage. The yard is flat, sunny, and dotted with beautiful old maple trees and natural grasses. The waterfront is beach sand and is a gradual entry into clear water with a beautiful sandy bottom. There are two single kayaks and a stand up paddle board for you to go exploring with. Float in the water and soak up the sun. Drink your favorite beverages in the Adirondack chairs under the shade of the maple trees. Toss the football around in the water. Throw something yummy on the grill. Tell stories. Snooze in the hammock. Go fishing. Challenge your loved ones to a game of corn hole. Catch sightings of our resident bald eagle. Laugh, sing, and eat s’mores as you gather around the authentic boulder fire pit. Fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the loons. Your own private lakeside oasis is directly out the front door. This is the ideal waterfront location for families and friends.Entering the cottage you will find it is clean, bright and lovingly cared for. It is a blend of vintage pine board charm mixed with modern touches and conveniences. The living rooms’ wall of windows brings in an abundance of natural light and allows you to appreciate a 180 degree view of the sparkling clear water and mountains from the moment you step inside.
