Description

Bar Harbor is a magical place and ‘Sunset’ is the perfect home from which to enjoy all it has to offer. Walk into town to shop or eat, bike into Acadia National Park, kayak off the sand bar, board a boat to fish or whale watch or simply relax and enjoy the view from the back porch. You will find that everything is easily accessible from this spectacular home built in 1910 and listed on the National Historic Registry.Sunset features 2 king bedrooms, 1 queen bedrooms, 3 full bedrooms and 2 bedrooms with 2 twins. It has 7 full bathrooms. We have 2 futons in the TV room on the 2nd floor and a twin bed in the TV room on the 3rd floor. We do limit adults to 16 but will allow up to 18 if small children are included.For those not able to handle stairs, we have a sitting room with a full sized bed on the first floor along with a full bathroom not included in the count above.Enjoy sunset on the glassed in back porch or on the patio, both overlooking the beautiful garden and Frenchman’s Bay.
