Ideally suited for two guests, but it can sleep four if the living room futon is used as a spare bed. If you want to experience all that the Terlingua and the Big Bend has to offer, this is the place you want to be. Take a short walk to anywhere in the Ghost Town. Drive a few minutes to the western entrance to Big Bend National Park or any of the Terlingua based adventure outfitters. Relax inside an eco-friendly home designed with lots of ghost town accents. Hang out on the private deck and enjoy the Chisos Mountain views. Sleep comfortably on a high quality mattress with fresh linens. Prepare your own meals, snacks, and drinks in the small kitchen. Enjoy live music, drinks, dining, and art at all the local venues and shops.Walk to all the Ghost Town favorites. It’s quicker to walk than drive to Starlight Theater, Espresso y Poco Mas, Earth & Fire Gallery, the famous Trading Post porch, the Boat House Bar, or the Ghost Town cemetery. It’s a just few minutes by foot to Rustic Iron BBQ, Taqueria Milagro, or High Sierra Bar & Grill.Enjoy the natural wonders of the Big Bend by heading into Big Bend National Park or Big Bend Ranch State Park. You’ll have endless hiking, driving, sightseeing, birdwatching, and star gazing opportunities. Kick the adventure up a notch with the help of one or more of the many local adventure outfitters. River trips, horseback riding, jeep tours, ATV tours, guided hikes, mountain bike rentals. You’ll be in the middle of it all.The house has a cozy bedroom with a high quality queen size bed, a full bathroom, open concept living room, dining area, and small kitchen. The living room has a queen size futon for extra bedding. There is also an elevated deck for enjoying mountain views and watching locals and tourists. There is also a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking. Guests need to provide there own charcoal, but there is often some left by prior guests.Spend your time relaxing, seeking adventure, or partying like a local. Come down for two night or several. No matter how long you stay, you’ll wish you could stay longer. That’s okay though. You can always come back.The house is professionally managed by the Big Bend’s longest serving vacation rental management company, Big Bend Vacation Rentals. As your hosts, we’ll be prepared to meet your needs and exceed your expectations. We treat all of our guests they way that we would want to be treated.
