Splash House w/ Private Pool & Fire Pit • Dogs Welcome No Additional Charge One of the only homes in Joshua Tree with a private in-ground pool walking distance to town. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fenced front and back yards, 4 streets away from restaurants, desert nightlife, and short drive to Joshua Tree National Park. If you plan on hiking, exploring the desert, or simply lounging by the pool or wood burning fireplace, this house is a perfect getaway with friends or family. Dogs are welcome for free!Enjoy lounging by the pool in your very own oasis in the heart of downtown Joshua Tree. Both the front and the backyard are fully fenced, giving the feeling you are in complete isolation and a safe place for your furry friends to roam.The open floor plan leaves lots of space to hangout and enjoy the indoor outdoor living that has been carefully thought out for the ultimate Joshua Tree experience. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with comfortable sleeping arrangements for 6 people; 1 king, 1 queen bed and two twin beds.Also, we love your furry friend and 2 well behaved dogs are welcome without any pet fees.In the colder months, enjoy the wood burning fireplace in the living room as you enjoy reading on the couch or snuggling in to watch Netflix.THE OUTDOORS:The large backyard comes equipped with an IN GROUND POOL. Do we need to say more? Okay, there are also outdoor amenities including hammocks, loungers, a dining table for al fresco dining, benches with a built-in fireplace, various outdoor games and of course, incredible stargazing.The front yard is covered with greenery which acts as a natural privacy barrier and a perfect place for morning coffee or tea. Downtown Joshua Tree is just a short walk from the house, all the fun shops, and unique spaces.PETS:We love pets and believe it’s a little unfair to charge extra for them since we consider them family members. With that in mind, please be respectful of our furniture and outdoor spaces and clean up after them.• OTHER THINGS TO NOTEProfessionally managed by Hi-Desert Dwellings• RENTAL AGREEMENTThere will be a rental agreement sent out that will need a signature to complete the reservation• A/CThe Splash House is cooled by a brand new evaporation cooler which is run by pumping water to the system. Swamp coolers are found in most homes in Joshua Tree as electricity is very expensive.** Please note that during the humid months, August – September, the evaporation cooler might not work as well due to the moisture in the air.** Please note the evaporation cooler will not be available from November-March to ensure the water lines do not freeze.• GAMESWe have provided a number of indoor and outdoor games. Giant Jenga, Horseshoes, cornhole, playing cards, UNO, Apples to Apples, Cards Against Humanity, and more. Be sure to keep all the pieces and parts together where they belong so everyone can continue to enjoy them.• FIREDue to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no open flames fire policy BUT the propane fire pit located outside if allowed.If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, in a fire pit, using fireworks or other open fire (propane excluded when used IN the propane firepit and propane grill provided) means your rental agreement will be terminated and there is a $200 fine.• GUESTSYou are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests.• IDENTITY VERIFICATIONYou will receive a text or email from Guest Ranger that will ask you to verify your identity and submit a picture of a government issued ID and a selfie. This information will be used to verify that the booking guest matches the credit card used and to help reduce any issues with identity theft. This process is mandatory to complete the booking. The data is protected in a hash-encrypted vault following data security standards including GDPR. Data-input in the vault is encrypted in a two-way function where information is scrambled using an encryption key and unscrambled later using a decryption key. On top of that, we use hashing to add an extra layer of security using a one-way function where a unique message digest is generated from an input file or a string of text.
