Stand-Alone Condo, Walk to Diana’s Bath & Hiking Trails from your Backdoor!A perfect home for two families to share! (Please note that the primary renter must be at least 30 years old.)Location, location, location! This convenient and newly renovated standalone condo, built in 2003, is centrally located close to popular locations in North Conway New Hampshire and the surrounding White Mountains. It’s backyard abuts the White Mountain National Forest and you can take a 1 minute walk to a path that leads you right to popular Diana’s Bath. Or, right from our backdoor, you can hike to North Moat Mountain, one of New Hampshire’s hikes on their “52 with a View” List. If hiking is not your style, hop in your car and within 5 minutes you can reach quaint North Conway Village or spend the day at Echo Lake, Cathedral Ledge, Cranmore or Attitash Mountains. If you prefer to stay in and relax, you can watch a movie by the fire or watch the wildlife go by from our screened in porch.Our 1,800 square foot spacious, open floor plan, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo feels like a house and comfortably sleeps up to 10 people. It’s perfect for 1 large family or even 2 families to share. The basement does not have AC but typically stays cooler and has a ceiling fan.Free wifi and local cable are included with all short term rentals.Please contact hosts if you require electric vehicle charging during your stay.North Conway is packed with activities for all ages and all seasons. Check out some of our favorite places to visit.Diana’s Baths (Walking Distance)- A must see if you are in the North Conway area and want to experience nature at its finest…and this gem is right in our backyard! You can follow a short path marked in red right behind our unit that will lead you right to the path to Diana’s Bath. During the summer the baths are a great place for children and grown-ups alike to enjoy the tranquility of nature, and explore the many rocks, ledges, cascading falls and pools in the brook. There are also several additional hiking trails to explore past Diana’s Baths.Story Land (10-15 minute drive)- A popular family amusement park offering rides and entertainment to everyone. Watch fairy tales come to life here!Echo Lake (Less than 5 minute drive)- A great place to take the family for a swim and picnic. A scenic trail around the lake provides great views of sheer, 700-foot Cathedral Ledge which towers over the lake.Cathedral Ledge and White Horse Ledge (Less than 5 minute drive)- A mile-long auto road and a variety of hiking trails lead to the top of Cathedral Ledge where views across the Saco River Valley to the White Mountains can be enjoyed. Both Cathedral and nearby White Horse ledges are popular rock and ice climbing walls.Cranmore Mountain (5 minute drive)- Perfect for winter skiing and snowboarding and jam packed with summer activities such as their famous Mountain Coaster, an Aerial Ropes Course, bouncy houses, Knocker Ball, a scenic chairlift ride to the top of the mountain and more.Attitash Mountain (10-15 minute drive)- Another local mountain perfect for winter skiing and snowboarding and also jam packed with summer activities such as their famous Alpine Slide, Mountain Coaster, Zipline Tour and more.Saco River (Less than 5 minute drive)- Canoe, Kayak, Tube, or PaddleBoard down this wide and gentle flowing river which has areas of sandy beaches, rope swings and woodlands.North Conway Downtown (5 minute drive)- Something for everyone! Lots of restaurants, specialty and novelty shops (including Zeb’s…our favorite candy store!), a playground and more.White Mountain Weather Observatory (5 minute drive)- A private, non-profit scientific and educational institution that houses a variety of interactive weather activities and exhibits. Great rainy day activity for the whole family.Settlers’ Green Outlet Village (10 minute drive)- Tax Free Outlet shopping!Lower Falls (15 minute drive)- One of the most popular stops on the Kancamagus Highway. Great for swimming and rock jumping, but the water can be dangerous if the water is rushing fast.Emerald Pool (35 minute drive)- A gorgeous swimming hole that is home to a 10-15 foot jump off a large rock into 10-15 feet of water. You will need to take a 15 minute or so hike on Baldface Circle Trail to get there, but it is worth the walk.Wildcat Mountain (25 minute drive)- Winter skiing and snowboarding and summer scenic gondola rides, ziplines, Alpine Disc Golf, hikes and waterfalls.Mt. Washington (25 minute drive)- Drive up Mt. Washington Auto Road, enjoy a train ride on Mt. Washington’s Cog Railway or dare to hike to the top of the Northeast’s highest peak!Loon Mountain (45-60 minute drive)- Great skiing and snowboarding in the winter. In the summer, enjoy bungee trampolines, a variety of rock walls, a giant zip-line, an Aerial Ropes course, biking, a giant log maze, bouncy houses, a gondola ride to the top of the mountain, summit caves to explore and more.Santa’s Village (45-60 minute drive)- New Hampshire’s famous Christmas theme park. Bring the kids to meet Santa at any time of the year, ride a variety of rides or visit their water park. Fun for the whole family!Whale’s Tale (45 minute drive)- A blast for water slide lovers.ATV Rentals (30 minute drive)- A variety of rental agencies will let you take out your own ATV rentals. Have a blast exploring paths all over Gorham. Make sure you take a drive by the Cascade Falls waterfall and the windmills!Chutter’s Candy Store (45 minutes)- Home to the world’s largest candy counter!
