StarHill Farms is a rolling 300+ acre setting nestled between Mill Creek and Sandy Creek in Austin County, Texas. It is conveniently located between Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.StarHill Farms now has several restored log cabins and a Ranch House for guests to enjoy the beautiful wide open spaces of Austin County!Our Cabin on the Hill is a Historic Seidel Family 1849 Austin County Cabin relocated to a secluded hilltop spot overlooking Mill Creek. It is fully renovated with custom fixtures, reclaimed wood, and stone improvements as well as on of a kind antiques.It is a one room cabin with a Queen Bed. There is a kitchenette with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and pots, and pans. It features a full bathroom with claw foot tub and hand held shower.There is a wood burning stone fireplace and also central air conditioning and heat.Linens and towels are provided in addition to a hairdryer and Texas Lavender bath products.There is a covered porch with rocking chairs to relax in.This original log house was preserved and stands as a fitting memorial to the sturdy pioneers who so truly built for the future.
