Description
Imagine all the fun you can have in Prescott if you don’t have to worry about driving and parking but instead having just a short 2 block walk to enjoy the shopping, dining and the summer evening events in Historic Prescott’s courthouse square. This is an adorable large studio apartment (approximately 350 sq ft) just 2 convenient blocks from historic Prescott’s courthouse square. The apartment is built over the main house garage but has its own separate entrance with an adjacent patio for relaxing in the summer evenings. It is located in the historic district of the city, behind a 1920s bungalow. Please keep in mind that because it is located above the garage, there are a few steps involved.During the day, visit the shops in downtown Prescott or, on weekends, enjoy the various craft fairs that come to town. In the evenings take your lawn chair and in a short 5 minute walk you are ready to enjoy the nightly summer activities around the square. As you enter the apartment, you will see the bathroom (with a custom tile shower) to your left prior to entering the living area to your right. The main room has a couch that will convert to a double bed and a flat screen TV that has satellite TV with Phoenix local stations and HBO. The 7 ft ceilings add to the cozy feel. The sleeping area is not entirely private but is separated from the main room by a long wall. It has a queen bed and its own flat screen TV. Both TVs operate off of one satellite box so both are tuned to the same channel all of the time. The apartment can sleep 4 but it is not recommended. We have personally done it but it gets very crowded in the small space. The small dining area is next to a fully equipped kitchen which has a small oven/range, microwave and refrigerator. The apartment has a window air conditioner and, if you get cold, a fireplace style heating unit. Wi-Fi is also available. While we don’t have room for a laundry area there is a laundrymat located less than 50 yds away. This is a non smoking residence inside but smoking is allowed on the outside patioSmall pets with prior approval and deposit. No Cats. VRBO doesnt show it but the pet deposit is refundable provided there is no damage or additional cleaning required due to the dog
