PROPERTY DESCRIPTIONNestled atop a bluff overlooking beautiful Hamlin Lake, minutes away from pristine Lake Michigan beaches and Downtown Ludington is a lovely three bedroom, two bath, west- facing home with stunning sunsets over the lake. Our home sleeps a maximum of six people unless special permission is given.Our home has everything you could need to make your vacation comfortable and relaxing. The lake views from the four-seasons porch and the two decks are spectacular. Our fully stocked kitchen has everything you will need for cooking and dining; the large living room has seating for everyone; there is plenty of outside seating for relaxing or dining, we have a grill, fire pit, and large lawn. This splendid home is ideal for all seasons and can accommodate up to 6 people.Enjoy the spacious remodeled living room while relaxing in front of the gas fireplace or watching TV. The home is Wifi enabled and comes equipped with a washer and dryer. There is heating and air conditioning throughout.Our home sleeps 6: Master bedroom has a new king foam mattress. Bedrooms two and three have queen beds, and closets with shelving units. We have a sofa bed with an air mattress in the four-seasons porch. All bedrooms are upstairs and include high quality linens, plenty of pillows, and comfortable mattresses. There is one bathroom with a shower downstairs and a remodeled bathroom with a shower upstairs.OUTDOOR SPACEThere is a portable gas grill, patio table that seats 8, and a portable firepitwhich are perfect for relaxing at the end of the day and enjoying the sunset over the lake. Walk down our outdoor stairs to enjoy the peace and quiet of Long Skinny Park along Hamlin Lake. Whether you traverse the bayous or head for deeper waters, Hamlin Lake offers Tiger muskie, salmon, northern pike, large and smallmouth bass, perch, crappie, bluegill, and walleye. Hamlin Dam is an excellent spot for catching salmon in the fall. Our driveway is big enough to accommodate two cars and a boat. There are three public boat launches and one private marina minutes fro our home. There is a boat rental facility a few minutes from our home.SUMMERIn the summer, with miles of sandy beaches, picturesque sunsets, outdoor adventures, excellent fishing, and boating opportunities, the whole family will have plenty to do. The area has over 28 miles of sandy shoreline. Looking for something a bit more adventurous? Set sail on Lake Michigan or attend one of the local events and festivals.Hamlin Lake offers terrific summer recreation, including swimming, boating, tubing, and fishing. You will find beautiful sand dunes and sandy bottom swimming. Climb the dunes for a magnificent view of Hamlin Lake and Lake Michigan. Hamlin Lake touches the Manistee National Forrest on the north.BEACHESWith 28 miles of sandy shoreline, you will have no trouble finding a sandy spot. The public beach at Stearns Park has been the recipient of numerous awards over the years.
