Kitchen, breakfast nook, living room, two new bathrooms, four bedrooms and best of all a recently restored wide covered porch overlooking spectacular Mackerel Cove sunsets.The fall shoulder season in Maine is glorious but be prepared to bundle up in this woodstove-heated cottage when the sun goes down in cooler weather. Early Fall flexible rates and lengths of stay.The location is ideal for families with kids who like outdoor exploration. A short walk through woods to a private cove for swimming and kayaking; a sandy beach a short drive away; a nearby General Store and a local restaurants will keep you supplied. The home comes with a ping pong room, and two kayaks. A spruce woods on the north and bayberry, lilac bushes and ornamental plants along the south side separate it from neighbors. The driveway and well are shared with a third neighbor. Walls separating bedrooms are thin so bring your earplugs for added privacy. The only frills are the new bathroom fixtures, the recently installed water filtration system and most of all the remarkable beauty that nature supplies.
