Sandquarters Beach House – An inviting get-away for families and friends and just a short walk to the beach in one of New England’s best beach towns. This single family home is located in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking, and a private yard for grilling. A cozy setting to relax after a long walk on the beach, or a day exploring nearby Portland or Freeport.This home is a spacious Victorian style with high ceilings and a lot of charm. The living room is a comfortable gathering place with original period woodwork and plenty of seating. There is a trundle bed adjacent to the living room for afternoon naps or for extra guests.The modern kitchen has new counter tops, a cooktop, stove and ceramic tile floor. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities to cook a big meal or a light snack. We also have lobster pots if you decide to enjoy the local seafood. A separate dining room has ample space for meals, or a great setting to work on a group jigsaw puzzle.An activity closet is stocked with board games and puzzles for relaxing evenings or for rainy days. We also have a mini-library of vacation reading; take a book home with you or leave one behind when you are done with it.Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms with bureaus and closets for ample storage space and a washer and dryer are available in the basement for your convenience.A keypad access code will allow all members of your family access to the house without the worry of keeping track of a key.Surrounding Area: The house is a block away from a local park/playground, the town library and mini-golf. Also, the amusement park, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. You can leave your car at home and not worry about parking!Nearby Attractions: Within a short drive you’ll find theme parks, movies, golf courses, a water park, and the outlets of Freeport and Kittery.
