Our cottage shares 80 feet of frontage with one other cottage, on the west side of Mullet Lake and is easily accessible from I-75, to M-27 and down Sunrise Lane, a private drive. The cottage is well equipped with an open kitchen and living room, two bedrooms, a sleeping loft and bathroom with a shower stall. The cottage is on the calm side of the lake for prime boating. No boat? Rentals are available at the Mullett Lake Marina 2 miles north next to the DNR boat launch. Less than a block from your door is the Rails to Trails path for walking, running or biking. On the trail you can ride to Mackinaw City 20 miles north or connect to many other towns and cites via the trail system in northern Michigan. Enjoy your meals looking out at the lake from the screened porch or cement patio with a picnic table. Just under a mile away is the Village Store where pizzas and other carry outs are available. Grocery and department stores are in Cheboygan seven miles away.The cottage is on a private drive making a quiet setting. This is a great location for a single family looking for a clean and relaxing cottage get away. There are activities available to keep you as busy as you want or you can just relax in the swing by the shore. The cottage is not meant to be a reunion site for relatives to visit with trailers or RV’s.
