Located just half a mile from the beach, a stay at this rental also includes access to three Har-Tru clay tennis courts (with on-site professional lessons) and a shared outdoor pool.The Island Inn lies just south of the community of Oak Bluffs, on the northeastern tip of Martha’s Vineyard. You’ll have your pick of three of the island’s most popular beaches, including Joseph Sylvia State Beach, Inkwell Beach, or Oak Bluffs Town Beach, and next door to Farm Neck Golf Club’s 18 holes and beautiful 256 acres of terrain.But there’s plenty to keep you and the family entertained even without leaving the Inn! Splash around in the shared pool or get in an invigorating game of tennis at one of the on-site courts. When you’re ready for a break, head back to your private condo, where you can watch TV, fix a snack in the full kitchen which includes silverware, plates, cups, cooking pans, and utensils, or use the WiFi to catch up with friends back home.Other amenities include shared washers/dryers, a picnic and barbecue area, as well as a firepit area. Tennis courts, plus racquets, and ball rentals are available at the Pro Shop. Tennis is available from May 15th through October. The seasonal pool is guaranteed to be open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. There is also a lovely on-site restaurant that is unaffiliated with the Island Inn.THINGS TO KNOWThe fireplace is not operational.One of the sleeping spaces is a semi-enclosed sleeping space, separated from the living room by a half-wall. It is not a full bedroom.If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
