What an old Maine cottage should be, original and unique! Enjoy relaxing at our quaint cottage by the sea, equipped with modern amenities. Sunrise has been recently fully renovated , while keeping it’s original beachy charm. It has spectacular views of the Bay of Fundy, Campobello Island & Quoddy Head all while setting on it’s new spacious lower AND upper deck overlooking the salt marsh. High tide you may see flocks flying overhead to nest nearby, while low tide you will see them return to the shoreline.Sunrise is an older 1900 cottage that has been recently fully updated. Sunrise comfortably fits up to 5 + guests. Two bedrooms are shared on upper level of the cottage. The bedrooms overlook the bay or the ever changing tides through saltwater marsh. The king bedroom has their own personal upper level deck to enjoy that breath taking view that words can not describe. On a clear sunny day, Grand Manon Island can be seen in the distance 8 nautical miles away. The lower level has the bathroom, kitchen and dining/living room. It also includes a spacious lower level deck where meals can be enjoyed while taking in the view. The cottage is equipped with 300 speed internet for video conferencing. Please note: There is no smoking of any kind in the cottage. Thank you.Guests will have full access to the whole fully appointed cottage, as well as the back yard. Sunrise cottage path is the right of way down to the water. Once down to the water, you will have full access to walk up and down the shore line. If you take a left at low tide, walk .3 miles on the shoreline, you will be able to access a long pebble beach that K-9’s and humans love! At high tide, you may have to walk on the road back to your cottage.There is another right of way path next to Sunrise cottage, please do not use the longer path, that is not on the property. Sunrise cottage path is marked for your convenience.We do have a co-manager that will be at your assistance if you need. Please call or message me and I can help you out. For safety purpose please leash your pet while outside due to eagles and predators. Please use the back lawn and towards the water or meadow path to walk your dog. This beautiful area is shared with neighbors, best keep your pet with you.Please note that the driveway is a right of way path that is shared with the neighbors. We ask you not to use the front yard excersizing your pet for neighbors convenience.PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE OPEN STAIRWELL SUNRISE IS NOT SUITABLE TO TODDLERS AND SMALL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 6.If you are looking for a larger party booking, please visit our sister cottage Seascape just a quarter mile down the road!
