Description
This 1,600 square foot home has a stunning view overlooking the Tittabawassee River. Three bedrooms (1 king & 2 queen beds) and a set of bunk beds in the sunroom. There is a large dining room to enjoy family meals together. Complimentary coffee bar provided. The finished garage/game room gives you even more room to spread out and enjoy your stay. The large, deep lot has plenty of room for off-street parking. The home has a Generac generator in case of emergencies.Typically, this body of water is known as Smallwood Lake. Due to severe flooding in May 2020, the dam creating the lake had to be lowered for repairs. We now just have the natural flow of the river. The pictures shown are of the current water level with a bit of fluctuation in spring/summer. Unfortunately, due to the water level, it’s not ideal for swimming and there isn’t a way to launch a boat.Centrally located in Gladwin County in the “Wooden Shoe” area located near M-61 & M-30. Only 16 miles from I-75 and 21 miles from US-127. Gladwin County has thousands of acres of state land with trail systems for ORV adventures or Jeep rides. Located in the heart of Amish Country. In town on the Cedar River there are kayak, canoe and tube rentals available. 30 minutes from Standish casino.
