Robin’s Nest is perched at the top of a quiet, dead-end street, less than a mile walking distance to the center of Southwest Harbor. The town center offers a variety of restaurants, shops, public library, and playground. Catch glimpses of harbor views from many rooms in this sweet 2 bedroom, 1 bath home.The cottage has a very comfortable layout and can accommodate up to 5 guests; however, the house is best suited for a combination of adults and kids with a maximum of 4 adults). The kitchen, dining room, and living room are on the first floor; two bedrooms and a bathroom (with tub/shower) are located on the second floor. The largest of the bedrooms has a queen-sized bed, with ample room to put a pack-and-play or toddler mattress in the room. The second bedroom has two twin beds. A sleeper sofa in the downstairs living room can accommodate additional guests. The sleeper sofa is best suited for children or small adults for brief stays. The washer and dryer are located in the basement and are available for guest use.Robin’s Nest is well landscaped, with a sunny rear deck, private back yard, paved driveway, and single-car garage, where you may store your bikes or kayaks. The home is tastefully decorated and well-appointed. The owners have young children and are happy to accommodate yours.
