Description

Sweetwater Cottage is owned and operated by two area artists. The cottage has been completely renovated with both comfort and aesthetics in mind.The cottage features all necessary amenities to make guests feel right at home and able to have a full vacation experience.Boat rental and boat launch are just down the hill from the cottage which has views of both Hamlin Lake and the South Bayou.The cottage can accomodate up to 5 guests. It has two bedrooms and one bath. The first bedroom has a queen and the second has a bunk bed (Twin over Full).There is plenty of communal space both indoors and out. Feel free to gather at the farm table for a game of cards or around the fire pit outback. Or For a more quiet moment grab a book and sit on the covered deck or in front of the large picture window in the living room.This is a family friendly cottage. As a young family themselves the owners see the value in travelling a little lighter. We have provided some toys, books and common necessities to make your stay a little easier. Including highchair and portable crib. Although we are family friendly we are not considered “child proof.” (Parent is responsible for their child’s well being and safety)This is a pet friendly home. We allow one pet per reservation. Our pet fee will need to be paid at the time of booking. We ask that guest if bringing a pet follow our pet rules. Pets are not allowed on any furniture, must be leashes when in the yard, and not left in the home unattended.
