This suite is mid-century modern themed with all brand-new furniture. It is stocked with everything you could need while you stay with us! This private apartment is part of the historic Benjamin Bryan Residence. – Private rear courtyard with deck and string lights – Full kitchen including a coffee pot, french press, pots/pans, dishes. – Well stocked with appliances (full size fridge, stove, microwave, blender, toaster and washer/dryer) – 1 bedroom with a queen bed (highly rated 12″ Zinus memory foam mattress) – High-speed WiFi – Bedroom area includes 50 inch flat screen Roku TV (local stations, Netflix, Amazon, Sling TV), and board games – We supply all bed linens, bath towels, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, trash bags, coffee/tea, popcorn, & oatmeal. – ample free parking is available on-street – private entry in rear of home – We live in Wilmington and are happy to help with any questions! We strive to be extremely responsive but unobtrusive. Brooklyn Arts District Located on the historic north side of downtown Wilmington, Brooklyn Arts District is an artist’s dream full of industrial buildings and old churches. It is anchored by the Brooklyn Arts Center + The Annex. Originally constructed in 1888 as St. Andrews Church, the building was the center of Wilmington’s Brooklyn neighborhood for nearly a century. St. Andrews school building was completed in 1910. Today, both buildings have been restored and refurbished as an event venue that plays host to live music and concerts, weddings, art shows and vintage flea markets. The area also features a water front Live Nation concert venue, many breweries, and amazing restaurants – all within walking distance. The heart of historic downtown (front&market) is a short 10 minute walk. Parking is ample in the area. Free street parking is available. Both Uber and lift are readily available. Downtown Wilmington also has public transportation including city buses and a trolley system.
