The Big Little Cabin – Hot Tub & PlaygroundLocated on a quiet country road, this pet-friendly (pet fee applies*) cabin is less than five miles from eight of North Georgia’s best wineries and wedding venues, perfect for a weekend getaway or for some time away from it all. The cabin is in Lumpkin County near Dahlonega, and is less than 20 minutes to Cleveland and 25 minutes to Helen.This cabin has a very quiet, peaceful setting, and White Dog Farm, which offers horseback riding lessons, is only a quarter mile down the road. Whether you’re here to hike to see one of the many nearby waterfalls or mountain views or just to sit by the fire roasting marshmallows, this is the place for you.The cabin sits on a seven-acre tract with shared access to a playground and creek. Outside amenities include a six-person hot tub, a large wrap-around porch with a beautiful pavilion, as well as a gas and wood fire pit.The cabin is very charming, with its rustic exposed beams and hardwood and knotty pine floors. It’s cooled by a ductless wall unit in the living room (which is adequate for the entire cabin) and ceiling fans, and is heated by the ductless unit and the propane fireplace.Guests have access to the entire cabin and property. The playground and field area are a 325 ft walk through the woods from the cabin and are shared access with the other cabin on the property. The dog pen is private (not shared), and is 20 feet from the cabin. The pet fee is $85 plus tax (per stay, not day) for the first pet, and $60 plus tax for each additional pet. The tax rate is 16%. The first pet will be included in your booking total if you select “Pets” when booking. Please let us know about any additional pets right after you book and we will charge your payment method before your stay. We handle additional pets manually so pet fees are more affordable for guests.Q: What if I accidentally damage something?A: There is a $27 damage protection waiver included in the base rate for this property. It covers guests for up to $500 in accidental damages, if the guest reports damage that happens during their stay. Intentional damage, unreported damage, or anything exceeding $500 will be charged to the guest’s payment method.Q: Is there a fee for extra guests?A: Please select the correct number of guests when booking, as there is a $10 (per person, per night) extra guest fee for each guest after 4.Q: What if I need to cancel?A: Although we have a strict cancellation policy, we offer travelers insurance if you’re worried you may have to cancel your trip for any reason. More info can be found at the end of the listing description.Q: What kind of coffee maker do you have?A: Our cabin has a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. We provide both types of coffee.Q: Do you provide firewood?A: We have self-service firewood available on-site to purchase for $10 per bundle (including tax). Please inquire if you would like to purchase firewood. Firewood is also available at most local convenience stores and gas stations.Q: Is the gas fireplace available to use year round?A: The gas to the fireplace is turned off from May 1 to October 1.Q: What kind of grill do you have?A: We have a charcoal grill, but we do not provide charcoal.Q: When is check-in/checkout?A: Check-in is at 4 p.m. and checkout is at 10 a.m. Early check-ins are possible, but subject to availability and a $20 per hour fee, rounded to the nearest hour. Late checkouts are generally not available, but if we are able to make an exception, the fee is $20 per hour.Q: How do I check in?A: The address will be sent to you at the time of your booking, and your check-in information will be sent to you two days out from your stay.Q: I thought I saw a different booking price the other day. If it is found that guests brought a pet/pets without disclosing them, the guest will be subject to a $150 fee on top of the pet fees for the number of pets brought.Guests causing excessive noise or disturbances, including, but not limited to, underage drinking, partying, drug use, and exceeding max occupancy, will be asked to check out immediately and full stay rent charge will be due including deposit amount with NO REFUNDS.Guests who leave the place excessively dirty will be subject to additional cleaning fee. Examples of excessively dirty are stains on the floors and walls, pots and pans left unwashed in the sink, and trash left on the floor and outside.Any guest that checks in early without written permission may result in a $50 per hour fee.Any checkout after 10:00 am without written permission may result in a $50 fee.Any checkout more than 2 hours after check out will result in a fee for the entire daily rate, without any discounts, and guests will still not have rights to the property.Any guests checking out late that cause us to refund the next guests are subject to reimburse us for that amount, on top of the fees previously stated.
