I stayed at the Boathouse with my 4-year-old Weimaraner, Lola. When we drove up, Larry & King were there to greet us and give us a tour of the property. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful waterfront vacation complete with 2 kayaks, a Stand-up Paddle board, a canoe & a zodiac. The outdoor area had a fire pit that unfortunately we never used even though Larry cut up some firewood for us! The property is peaceful and the view of the water was so calming. I enjoyed the kayak & the SUP. The location at the end of a dirt road allowed Lola to be able to be off leash which she loved! I can not say enough how welcoming Larry & King were – it made our vacation so special! Loved our location and the ability to kayak and paddle board literally right outside the front door. Awesome location. Central to everything but down an old dirt road so you felt like you were on a retreat. Can’t say enough about Larry. One of the nicest people we have ever met. Very accommodating and respectful. It was great to have the kayaks, paddleboard, canoe and rowboat provided. We used them all! Our dog loved the rowboat the best. Although secluded it was nearby to anything we needed. Larry (our host) couldn’t have been nicer. We loved King as well.
