Emerse yourself in the pristine ten acres of wilderness that surrounds you, yet enjoy the convenience of being across the street from Downtown Carbondale and directly next to the most popular hiking trail in Town. The Chef’s Chalet is the home to let your inner entertainer out in one of the most iconic homes in Carbondale!Spread out over two levels: this one-of-a-kind home offers you two separate – yet connected – living spaces. The main floor offers two guest bedrooms and one bathroom, spacious deck with entertaining kitchen and outdoor theatre, a chef’s kitchen, and open-air dining/living room with gas fireplace that opens up to the outside. Travel upstairs to the spacious master suite to find your king-sized bed overlooking Mount Sopris, bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate shower, large closet, work area, and gym. Travel downstairs to the bottom floor and you’ll find your second living space with two bedrooms, one bathroom, full kitchen, entryway with storage and access to the yard, flatscreen TV, gas fireplace, and deck with private hot tub. This space now boasts A/C for the summertime!Your private retreat will have access to a lawn area and ten acres of pristine Red Hill wilderness. Pinon and Juniper trees surround you and the sunshine rarely ceases to kiss the many outdoor spaces you have access to. This home is nothing but perfection for anyone who loves food, a stunning view, and a quiet respite from daily life.PLEASE NOTE:- There are no events allowed on the property, this space can accommodate the amount of guests you book the space for. Any further visitors must have approval from the Manager before arriving.- Boutique Mountain Homes verifies identity and checks criminal databases for guests we host. After booking this space you will receive an email to complete your screening from our third-party guest verification company. By booking this space, you agree to complete this verification within 24 hours of booking.- This space has external surveillance.- PET POLICY: We allow up to two well-behaved DOGS in the space as long as they are disclosed to us before arrival. There is a $250 pet fee for every 7 nights at the home. If pets are not disclosed and the pet policies are not followed, there is a $1000 fine. Pets cannot be left alone in the home alone (unless crated), dispose of pet waste, and please keep pets off of furniture. Please follow these rules if your dog is staying with us and help us keep this space pet-friendly for our guests!- We require the home to be cleaned every 14 days during a stay, a service that is included in your booking payment up to 29 nights. If you have booked for 30+ nights, an additional payment will be requested after your booking is confirmed to cover this service.- You will be staying in the heart of the beautiful – and wild – mountains of Colorado. You may see or experience animals and pests such as bears, deer, elk, mice, packrats, insects, bobcats, snakes, raccoons, and other such wild things. While all our homes are well-managed, we cannot predict the unpredictable as we live in a natural setting. Please understand this prior to booking this home.
