This one-bed, one-bath home features custom touches providing comfort and functionality. Enjoy a full kitchen, a comfortable queen bed, and an incredible shared courtyard enclosed with high brick walls with plenty of greenery and comfortable patio furniture to enjoy Savannah nights. Located northwest of Forsyth Park, you will be in the heart of all Savannah offers.The Space:Situated on the alley side of the beautiful brick-laid Jones Street, the carriage house is among many of the historic buildings of Savannah that take you back to the colonial past.Enter the second-floor cottage from your private entrance. As you head upstairs, you immediately enter an open-concept design between the kitchen and living room. Although small, the carriage house was designed to maximize your space and provide a perfect place to relax at the end of the day.The kitchen provides ample storage space and is fully equipped with everything you need. Featuring brand-new appliances, pots, pans, cookware, and dishware, you will have everything you need to cook during your stay. Extended stays are easy with a washer/dryer combination tucked under the kitchen cabinets.Directly off the kitchen is a comfortable wrap-around sectional providing dining space with a raised coffee table. A smart TV hangs on the wall, ready to stream your favorite shows while you unwind from a day of exploring.Down the short hallway, you will find one bedroom and one bathroom. The bathroom features a shower/tub combination, new custom tile, and a single vanity. The bathroom has all essentials, including toilet paper, towels, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer.At the back of the cottage is the one bedroom featuring a comfortable queen mattress wrapped in fresh linens and plush pillows. Oversized nightstands provide additional storage, and a dedicated workspace makes this a perfect place to set up a home office if working remotely during your stay.Guest Access:The entire carriage house is for your use! There is a shared courtyard with plenty of seating in the back that you may use at your convenience. This area is hardly ever used by anyone else but is technically shared. You must enter through the garage/storage area.The Neighborhood:The Carriage House is located just northwest of Forsyth Park on the west side of the Historic District. Surrounded by some of the best dining options in town, you are just a minute’s walk from many of the local and out of towner favorites.Grab a delicious southern bite and Mrs. Wilke’s Dining Room. Pour a perfect pint at the Crystal Beer Parlor, or start your day with a short walk to Savannah Coffee Roasters.Short strolls towards the river walk will only increase your options with places like Noble Fare, fine dining, The Olde Pink House, The Lady & Sons, Chart House, and many more.Start your bar/pub tour by stopping into some staples of Savannah, including Six Pence Pub, O’Connell’s Irish Pub, or Dub’s Public House. There is also a FREE shuttle bus called The Dot that connects you all around town and it is just around the corner at Whitaker and Jones. This runs until midnight on Friday and Saturday nights!Other Things to Note:No parties.Only the number of guests listed on the reservation is permitted at the property.No illicit activities, peddling, or soliciting are allowed on the property.Do not smoke on the property or near the home. Clean up all smoke butts.You must be 21 years of age to drink alcohol.Report all damaged property to the property owner immediately.Treat the apartment with respect, as if it was your property.
