Renovated in 2021, this classic chalet style home is in the high peaks region and has direct mountain views right outside the door. The home sits on a quiet street with easy access to all the area’s attractions.This chalet has an abundance of windows and natural light. The kitchen is completely new with granite counter tops, custom finishes and high-end appliances. The hardwood floors have all been refinished. The Great Room features a large stone fireplace cathedral ceilings and all new wood finishes. The oversized master suite sits on its own level with private bath that is all new and features a luxurious walk-in shower. There are 2 more large bedrooms below for a total of 3, and the home can easilyaccommodate 6-8 people.The Mountaineer Chalet sits on over an acre of property with a huge deck that is accessed easily from the Great Room. The deck has a direct view of Haystack Mountain. The heating system in the home is also new and was put in for the sheer purpose of noise reduction to assure quiet sound throughout the home. There is Wi-Fi and Satellite TV in the home as well.Year round area attractions include hiking, the village of Lake Placid, alpine skiing and mountainbiking at Whiteface Mountain, snowshoeing, Fly fishing on the Ausable River, swimming holes, farmers markets, nearby lakes, and more.
