The Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Linville Falls/Caverns and the Original Mast General Store are all just a short drive away. Enjoy the cooler temperatures during June, July and August while everyone else is sweltering. The surrounding mountains turn into a patchwork quilt of oranges, reds, yellows and browns as Mother Nature transitions from summer to fall. Winter activities abound at Hawksnest Snow Tubing or one of the local ski resorts – Appalachian, Sugar Mountain or Beech Mountain.When we say top of the mountain, we mean the TOP of the mountain! Echota on the Ridge is beautifully situated atop the ridgeline where the views are as unforgettable as the memories!
